An equisite melange of 1980's synth-pop and Goth, Mortal is a remarkable release from this long-time Columbia, MO band. The flawless production, magical instrumentation and intriguing, seductive, sensual vocals of Diana Blackwell (not to mention her provocative lyrics), when added to this mixture, combine to give the listener a unique, one-of-a-kind listening experience that sets Odor of Pears apart from countless other bands.
